This book is an adventurous story about stage designer Liudas Truikis and opera soloist Marijonas Rakauskaitė. Most of the events described here are real, they were collected and narrated by the legendary museum curator Rasa Jonė Ruibienė. Even as a child, she visited artists' houses (the house-museum of L. Truikis and M. Rakauskaitė) many times, which later became her workplace. During the Soviet era, her mother Danutė Kondrotaitė worked together with Liudus at the State Theater and was friends with Marijona. When she went to visit them, she brought her daughter Ras. The girl used to sit in the living room in an unusual way - on a huge oriental carpet and did not even dare to move, marveling at the room full of exotic objects. In the book, a flying carpet, a dragon in a silk robe, and incense smoke draw Ras into the magical world of art.

Intended for 6-8 year olds.
